Our day was spent doing official stuff - we went to the notary this morning to sign our petition. Then went to see the judge. The meeting with the judge only last a few minutes. She asked us several questions - What do we do for a living - Have we been informed of her medicals - Do we live in a house - Do we love her (of course, yes, yes, yes). Then that was it. She said she would let us know of any furture documents that we would need to prepare. We know of three that just didin't get done before we left, but hopefully will be complete within a couple of weeks of being home. We think these three documents will be her only request. So for now we wait - In the mean time we will see the little lady Thursday and Friday. We are not able to see her on the weekend. Flights could not be changed so we will head home on Monday. We have family coming in on Saturday and a cookout planned at Beaks on Saturday afternoon - Perfect timing to show off pictures of the cutie pie. Already proud parents, Im sure you'll have to tell us to shut up about her!!!
We came back from meetin the judge and went back to bed. I think a Mack Truck ran over us somewhere along the way. I'm sure this is just emotional exhaustion, but man we were tired. Hope all is well where you guys are and we cant wait to show pictures and tell stories. Love to all - John and Lee
