Life truely is to love and be loved. We think for the first time in this little ones life she felt love today and in return gave love. We decided today to not play with her as much as we have been, but instead to spend the time holding her, touching her, taking her hands and touching us. I think more than anything thats what she needed. Unfortunately for John I did most of this. There were several times that he was holding her and she put her arms out for me to take her. This was BIG - for we haven't seen her do that even with her care givers. She fell asleep for a few moments while John and I held her. Today when the care giver brought her out to us, she said she got very excited when told we were there waiting on her. The Doctor/Director of the Baby House came by and said she could see a change and children do act differantly when they are loved. We are planning a return trip on Friday at 10 am agian. This will be the last time we visit until our return court trip. Leaving her today was hard, I don't want to think about tomorrow.
Other not so exciting times, Our day was spent in our room again. Not only has the rain returned, but brought snow as well. The pizza for dinner last night was GREAT and we may order that again tonight. Again, thanks for all the posts and e-mails its great hearing from all of you. Thanks most of all for the thoughts and prayers - they are felt and much needed. John reminds me that leaving her is one step closer to getting her, but its hard. - Lee
