Our last day with the cutie pie. Man its hard leaving her, but have faith that those taking care of her will continue. They are very lovely ladies and I'm grateful for all they do for not only E, but all the children. We spent our time playing. She seemed a little tired today and actually fell asleep in my arms again, but woke quickly when she smelled lunch. I'm glad to see her excited about lunch time for she needs to gain so much weight. Hopefully our journey will bring us back sooner than later. With wait time between 2-3 month, this will be a hard wait.
So sometime during the night I smelled smoke. Not to concerned because of the snow coming back in, thought someone had built themselves a fire. Well as some time passed we heard "garbage trucks". No big deal , then it dawned on me there are no garbage trucks - We jumped out of bed and looked out the window. One of the houses from the earlier picture was on fire and the "garbage trucks" were fire trucks. We walked down to the house this morning and its sad. As you can see from the picture from earlier these folks don't have a great deal.
All for now, we head to Moscow on Saturday morning and leave for the US on Monday morning. I guess the price of a meal from McDonalds is worth the cost of a hotel in Moscow. John swears he's lost 10 pounds :)
