Life is moving in to routine. We start our day around 7:30, breakfast, morning dressing, play, watch a little Elmo DVD, nap around 11:00, lunch around 1:00, then play as hard as we can until pool time, bath, dinner, Bach DVD, then bedtime around 8:00. We are having fun getting to know one another and finding our new defined roles. Elizabeth seems more and more like the sweet little girl we new at Teremok. Looking back I think her temper tantrums were more a stress reliever than anything else. She now has "normal" crying when hungry or tired. Eating is going well. She still is limited on the things she likes, but is getting a variety of what she needs. Her little noise is now pink and her hair is getting darker. To me these are good signs of proper nutrition. Language is still our most challenging area. Elizabeth started in speech therapy this week. The therapist gave me some great suggestions for eliciting sounds. We are now working on these and Elizabeth is doing well. She still loves music, dance, and water - these are her favorite things. She is a delight and I am thankful everyday for the time that I have with her. We both are very lucky to have this sweet little lady with us. Thanks for all the post, emails, and visits.
