What does re-adoption do for us? Mostly, it allows us to get original/certified copies of a birth certificate for Elizabeth. Can you imagine having to try to get one out of Tver? So we headed to court this morning along with several family members. We went to the judges chamber where he review documents, then declared Elizabeth still ours. Our attorney was present as well. He said it was an honor to be apart of this - he himself is a father to several children. We were thankful that our family were able to be present this time around.

Congratulations! That is neat that you had a little ceremony and that you could celebrate Elizabeth's readoption! We just got something in the mail saying it was done. But I like your way better! :)
