We celebrated John's birthday a few days ago. Elizabeth had so much fun helping make the cake, eat the icing, and sing the happy birthday song. We made John a cake using his Grandmother Tilburg's icing recipe. As you can see Elizabeth LOVED the icing. She is such a big helper these days. Every afternoon she says "help Mommy cook". We are sad to see summer ending. We've had such a wonderful time this summer. She starts to a pre-K for 3 year olds next week. She will have a blast - she is growing up so much.
